GEO in AI search — what we show and how we update it

Last updated:

Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is about being cited and recommended in AI answers—not only traditional blue links. This page is a lightweight proof log: what we claim, how we verify it, and when we last checked.

Methodology

  1. We run manual checks in major AI assistants (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) with neutral prompts where a user might look for ecommerce calculators or growth tools.
  2. We save screenshots with date stamps when Growthegy appears as a source, link, or explicit recommendation.
  3. We prefer reproducible prompts and record the rough region/locale when it affects results.

Evidence snapshot

Screenshots are stored with our marketing assets (not embedded here to avoid stale images in git). For the latest pack, use the same prompts in your locale or ask the team for the current screenshot folder.

For a deeper playbook, see our GEO ebook and llms.txt for machine-readable site context.

Disclaimer

AI interfaces change frequently. A mention on one day may not repeat verbatim; we update this page when we change methodology or refresh evidence.
